After an extensive 2 year renovation by local artists and crafts people, Merrill’s 1940’s DNR Headquarters was transformed into a community gathering place that founder Stan Janowiak envisions as “a center of activity that spills over to the parks”. With comfortable lounge areas, outdoor open space and an historic conference room, the Sawmill is quickly becoming a popular hang-out and the perfect venue for both public and private events.
We will continue to serve Uncle Rico’s Fresh Chicken Wings on Monday nights but all other guest food trucks are closed down for the winter. We will reopen our trailer, and bring back guest trucks, in the spring once the weather warms up.
We will continue to serve a variety of snacks behind the bar including charcuterie boards, pretzels with cheese dip, and “woodchips.”
If snacks won’t fill you up, feel free to carry in your favorite food from another local establishment to enjoy while drinking some of our brews.
