After an extensive 2 year renovation by local artists and crafts people, Merrill’s 1940’s DNR Headquarters was transformed into a beautiful community gathering place. With comfortable lounge areas, outdoor open space and an historic conference room, the Sawmill is a popular hang-out and the perfect venue for both public and private events.
Head Brewer Ben Osness keeps 12 of our 16 taps filled with delicious Sawmill beer using locally-sourced ingredients to create unique flavors. We will have a variety of guest food trucks throughout the fall season. Including Uncle Rico’s Fresh Chicken Wings on Monday nights. We always have a variety of snacks behind the bar including charcuterie boards, pretzels with cheese dip, Geiss Meat beef sticks and “woodchips.” If snacks won’t fill you up, feel free to carry in your favorite food from another local establishment to enjoy while drinking some of our brews.
